25 Mar Fashion Meets Tech: Stylish Heels That Change Color With An App (YES)
Gone are the days where you could complain that you couldn’t find the right shoes to match your outfit. Tech startup iShüu Tech, has ended your high heel dilemmas with the creation of their Volvorii Timeless Smart Shoe. The digital heels change color with the tap of a smartphone app.
These cool pumps are light-years ahead of the colorful LA Gears you had as a kid (remember those?). The Volvorii Timeless Smart Shoes are embedded with a digital ink that allow you to switch the heel’s color from all white to all black and even a black and white combination. Talk about going from day to night.
Available on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo the company’s designers are seeking to raise $50,000 to get the first round of shoes created. For a contribution of $249, you can snag one of the first pairs that ship in December. This seems like a great investment, especially considering the average woman spends $25,000 on shoes in her lifetime. It’s also a great gift for a girlfriend who is fashion forward with a a little bit of a geeky side (like me:).
